I applied for a job (1 open position) together with 500 other candidates. I went all the way, months through the application process, multiple steps, all the way to the last round of interviews when most candidates couldn't even get so far. Still didn't get the job.

Agreed, and I think that's something that should be addressed in-story. Stolas is still having to learn how to REALLY consider the feelings of others, and how his actions affect the people around him. It's been a slow process, and that growth won't happen overnight, but I feel like he's trying.

The Navy has their regs and squaring a foreign design to those regs is not an easy process as the Constellation-class demonstrates. Plus, US will want US systems so there will need to be a redesign. The Canadian variant might work, but it is as expensive as a Burke DDG while being less capable.

Ridiculous. We all know someone who has had a miscarriage. They happen. Pregnancy is a complicated biological process. My grandmother had 8 kids and a miscarriage after no. 5. My SIL had 3 kids, but miscarried between no. 2 and no. 3. Women shouldn't be treated criminally or blamed.
