I have tired of all that use AI or memoirs and letters to say what history implied. Letters and memoirs were used to explore the pros and cons of ideas. It is throughout our history.

When the networks were paying local stations to carry their programminng, a deal like this for sixth-rate fare wouldn't even be considered as the nets knew their locals wouldn't carry it. Now? Stations have to pay the networks, and regular pre-emptions for the most part, are no longer allowed.
CBS could have elected to run the Daily Show at 11:35 p.m. and I would have been good with that, but no, they're going to run that abortion from Byron Allen which he's paying for the time.
