All of my opinions about the pronatalists keep being proven correct.
Fox News complains that underage teenage girls aren’t getting pregnant enough:

“The problem is teens and young adults. From ages 15-19, the fertility rate is down 70% in the last 2 decades, which means we are telling people who are young not to have babies.”

The pronatalists are reinventing the Moonies, apparently.
Scoop: Far-right influencers and eugenicists are hosting a pronatalist conference in Austin this weekend, where I learned there will be ministers on hand to marry people and many of the strategy sessions will focus on matchmaking. The cost is $10K per person:

Far-Right Influencers Are Hosting a $10K-Per-Person Matchmaking Weekend to Repopulate the Earth
The Natal Conference, which costs up to $10,000 to attend, features multiple matchmaking strategy sessions and on-site ministers so attendees can get married, WIRED has learned.

I suspect this would appeal greatly to a number of the pronatalists

It's not just Dr. Oz who thinks that Americans are extremely "underbabied." There's an entire right-wing movement of "pronatalists" who are obsessed with people having more babies.

It would appear CNN was also at the eugenics conference? Why are all these mainstream news orgs at a 200-person event where all the speakers are eugenicists and racists? www.cnn.com/2025/04/11/u...

Hi pronatalists.
212,000 women left the work force between Jan and Aug 2025, while 44,000 men entered. The US govt is unconcerned, seeing men's employment as essential, but women’s employment as a nice to have, their job loss not constituting a serious obstacle.

No, pronatalists don’t have a point because the whole point of pronatalism is white supremacy.

Keep this episode in mind the next time the NYT does another "the left needs to take pronatalists seriously" op ed
man i wonder how eugenicist and white supremacist Jordan Lasker (aka Cremieux) managed to get his story into the New York Times. i'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that Benjamin Ryan, who is bylined on that story, is a reader of his work? such an interesting coincidence!

It’s important to remember that pronatalists aren’t just weirdo dipshits, but are also genuinely evil people

Maybe the pronatalists and their selfless concern for the continued existence of humanity will— (touching earpiece) hm.
sorry to be a downer but i just don't think we're gonna crack this. people don't even see their future selves as themselves so the idea of doing things for future generations rather than prioritizing more more more now is basically unthinkable www.france24.com/en/live-news...

Have you spoken to the pronatalists in your administration? Cuz they want half the average Americans to stop working.
Dr Oz: "If we could just get the average American to feel so healthy, so with it, so vibrant that they want to work just one extra year, that's worth $1 trillion to our GDP every year"
September 1, 2026 at 12:55 AM
The pronatalists aren't stupid. They know they can't get us to have more babies by just nudging us a little. It's going to take real muscle.
But if pregnancy is all-consuming, painful, and may happen at any time, then it's much harder to do other things with your life, too. Women's spheres narrow. And that's what they are aiming for: circumscription of women's lives. (Really all our lives.)

“When the ideal for womanly achievement is the independent woman, it is necessarily undermining family life.”

Look inside NatalCon, a conference held at the University of Texas-Austin for pronatalists, people who believe that falling birthrates the world over imperils humanity.

If you're asking yourself, "Didn't I just see another piece about those weirdo pronatalists?" The answer for the last few years is yes.
