It wasn't always this way. Men wanted power over the sybils and prophetesses. They later proclaimed women as witches. Not all cultures were so misogynistic but were trampled over time by misogynistic religions.

Holy Spirit was bestowed amongst men AND women. Paul gave clear instructions, love your wife! AND cherish her like you cherish your own body.
