I need to change a blown fuse in my old PS2 to get rumble back and, as it turns out, not only are there PDFs of the full service manuals in the Internet Archive but it is also WRITTEN IN THE PCB SILK SCREEN which fuse I should use. It's almost as if it was made to be repaired. Absolute crazy idea!

Been about 15 years since Console peak, but it will likely take longer than PC to flatline, as Nintendo should prop it up for a bit longer.
But the trend is pretty clear.
I don't expect any physical support for the next Xbox, and add-on drive is likely path for PS6. Not expecting PS7 support.

No hay generaciones de ordenadores.
Pero si Sony de repente decide que PS6 o PS7 o la que sea no es retrocompatible con laa anteriores, qué.
Ahora tienes una pedazo librería online a la espera de morir, como la de PS3 y Vita este mismo año.

No seamos tampoco agoreros, porque Steam lleva más de 20 años ofreciendo juegos digitales y todos tenemos mil juegos digitales ahí.
El problema no es la distribución digital, sino los comportamientos monopolísticos y anticonsumidor, que también se ciernen sobre Steam conforme Gaben envejece.
