This lorikeet was rescued , and now introduces its human to every bird it knows. Psittacine birds can develop genuine reciprocity behaviors toward the people who helped them.

An extreme example of what might be psittacine beak and feather disease (PBFD). It's possible this is some other disorder but seems likely to be PBFD. Regardless, it's remarkable that this sulphur-crested cockatoo has survived for so long.
