I just don't see how this stays legal. This is extreme overreach by the AG and I expect it to be challenged in court.

Update: Where I’m moving is a PSYPACT state, and my therapist said she’ll get licensure there when I move so I can keep seeing her 🥹
My therapist said, “I’ve realized I have a thing for voices,” and I almost started crying because there’s no way I’m going to be able to replace her when I move 😭

I can’t stop thinking about how this is what they’re doing with our fees and not, like, lobbying for better insurance coverage so that PsyPact providers don’t have to be private pay outside our home state

PsyPact - it's a license reciprocity option for psychologists. If it passes, I could register as PsyPact and offer services in all PsyPact states and I can refer clients in SD to any PsyPact provider. It will be huge for South Dakota residents' access to mental health care

Why does PsyPact have an AI chat with their mascot? It apparently answers questions that can be found on the FAQ page and doesn't help with questions about laws with interjurisdictional practice.

We're excited to begin offering ReACT via telehealth to individuals with FND in PSYPACT states! Access to FND treatment is limited, and we're working to expand availability of FND-informed care. Our goal is to make high-quality, accessible care a reality for all impacted by FND.
