It’s pulmonary embolism
God I’m so scared. It could be bullshit or it could be serious. The doctor pretty much said that and they’re figuring it out now
It’s been six days but we finally convinced mum she has to go to the doctor. Small victories, if you can call it that

"Although covid is transmitted through the respiratory system, much of the pathology unfolds in the vascular system, with microvascular damage, thromboinflammation, and dysregulated perfusion underpinning the cardiac, pulmonary, and neurological manifestations of severe disease."

Got through the pulmonary test which had no ball blowing, but an incredible amount of blowing did happen. Now just radiology. Then home, eat, shower and off to the Midterm watchparty this evening with IndivisibleMOV.

The dust of Mars is “small enough to penetrate deep into pulmonary alveoli, bypass the blood–brain barrier, and threaten vital organs.”

Hmm oh well. I guess we’d better phase out coal, oil, and “natural gas” after all.

Not dead here in the UK. Broke my leg and had it set in a cast same day. Cost $0 and they gave me free crutches. Three years ago I suddenly couldn't walk with chest pain. Immediate ambulance trip to A&E (ER), XRays, ultrasound and CT scans cost $0. Was bilateral pulmonary emboli. They saved my life.

Ok so one no doubt extremely expensive trip to the ER for scans and tests later it is not a pulmonary embolism/blood clot in my lung. It’s still some mystery respiratory disease I’ve been dealing with for over a month. Time for a buttload more steroids I guess
Welp my blood oxygen is at 88 so I guess we’re doing a cheeky trip to the ER

Trying to suck down this stuff to make my insides glow before I get on a treadmill and blow a ball and then get in a machine to get my picture taken because all of this sounds normal for a pulmonary test and a CT but really it all sounds like a carnival side show.

Being diagnosed with pulmonary arterial hypertension just 6 months ago changed my life completely. Access to an expert medical team specialized in pulmonary hypertension and a job that provides me with health insurance were absolutely essential for me getting better. #PHA #IPAH #PHIGHTER
