My hot take on this is that it would have ended up with Cobain, Novoselic and Grohl feuding publicly in a way that would have made Smashing Punpkins and Sonic Youth seem grounded and normal.
Kurt Cobain's death was very sad, but part of me always wonders if there's an alternative timeline where that didn't happen & he became this extremely online anti-vax poster.
