Ooh, much bigger addressable memory, which I think should make it easier to host live in-browser data science notebooks that do real work with @marimo.io or @jupyter.org and #pyiodide?

By sending code to the Rust playground! Pretty much how mdbook does it, although I'm thinking about adding support for other languages (eg. pyiodide for Python and maybe godbolt for C/C++)

“… sandboxing Python is still a very difficult problem”

Sounds like one of us needs to glue together a Python-wrapped WASM interpreter, Pyiodide, and something that asks intelligently asks and grants permission for WASI calls…

Looks like the new release went up this morning. Lots of good things, but not a radical change. I’m hopeful about the higher order improvements. Thanks for the pyiodide build!

Wrote about this at lalitm.com/post/syntaql...
Release v0.6.0 · LalitMaganti/syntaqlite
Shell file support: syntaqlite now understands SQLite shell scripts: files that mix .dot commands with SQL. The embedded SQL is extracted and the surrounding shell syntax is ignored, so ast, fmt, ...
