Another student sent an update on modeling the atmospheric CO_2 data, and was able to get the model:

a sin(b(x +c)) + d + ex +f x^2

to fit quite nicely.

Jet was a holdover from MATLAB I think, it is still possible to use but not recommended. The default pyplot colormap is viridis (which is pretty good, really, but I still don't like using it for published work)

I'm gonna go over to them and say "pyplot or GTFO," not because I'm not down with ggplot but because I think starting data analysis beef at drag trivia is funny.

Since I am officially working I cant actually watch the NBA playoffs. Am monitoring this graph instead:
pyplot generated line chart with play by play points differntial of Thunder vs Timberwolves. It is currently showing the score is 36:37 with 8mins 17 seconds remaining in 2nd quarter. The biggest lead so far is OKC up by 8 but MIN is currently ahead by 1.

Stacking rasters into multi-band raster causes value distribution issues
My goal is to stack two seperate single band rasters into a multi-band raster using rasterio. Initially, I seperately check the distribution of each raster.
