Ashen Prayer had a different name that often got shortened to Hope before his mother passed. Ashen or Ash are what most folks call him now, not much else.
Sarnai, meanwhile, has a few nicknames. Rose, Little Rose, and Songbird are just a few (rose being a translation of her name), and she’s Qalli

Ashen I think has a surprising green thumb when it comes to gardening (but only with flower. Anything edible ends up oddly tasting off even if he wasn’t involved in cooking).
Sarnai has a talent for singing (not surprising, as a Qalli tribesmen), but I do think she unknowingly weaves Dynamis

Aya inherited the smaller, backwards-curving horns and the thin, delicate tail from her mother's side. Her scale pattern is definitely her father's, though. If she ever married another Xaela (or her children take her characteristics), her children might inherit the forward curving horns of her dad.

Tsetseg slides all over the damn place; my personal headcanon is that it's part of her Echo. Communication is literally woven through her; she's a Qalli songbird, a Bard, & a Dancer. Even her healer of choice (Astro) is taking the vibe of the universe & converting images to a fortunes. (1/2)

darjeeling’s is probably comparable to a rural hingan accent, as he’s from the ruby sea (shore) where i hc common is also used often due to being part of trade routes
