The east church at Theodorias (modern Qasr in Libya 🇱🇾) had 50 mosaics on its floor. They have now been carefully removed and placed in the nearby, purpose-built museum.

The #Roman #Fortress known simply as el-Qasr (literally ‘the Fortress’), a mudbrick structure. In Roman times a small #garrison of troops would have guarded the fortress. The #Romans enlarged the #Ptolemaic structure.
