crazy to me that Shen Jiu told Yue Qingyuan to stop calling him Xiao Jiu and instead Yue Qingyuan started calling him “Qingqiu-shidi” (whereas Yue Qingyuan refers to everyone as as surname-shidi). we have to give Yue Qingyuan credit for following the letter but not the spirit of the law
