overall my worlds are queernormative, with individual exceptions such as Sook's father in #boombride, who refuses to have any kind of cloning involved in producing his grandchildren. Queernormativity is great, but also homophobia is still worth shitting on. So gotta balance the two #sffchat

I think you tend to be correct, yeah, and I'd be interested in a look at reproductive technology as it intersects with queernormativity - like, A Memory Called Empire is a queernorm universe with the kind of repro tech where the physicality of conceiving and bearing is (almost) entirely gone.
