i think wol already can recognize that shards are not the same people across reflections (see hildibrand quests, the various side quests with npcs that act similar), plus they have the benefit of knowing ardbert personally. but alphinaud and estinien haven't gotten that kinda slap in the face yet...

One of the interesting parts of the remake is that doesn't really change, especially wrt to side quests. It's *super* hands off

Actually its been like 6 years since I've played 12, maybe I'll do that one. Great hunt side quests in 12. Very underrated battle system imo.

5. I would instead propose more scenes like the Old Sharlayan inn room AND/OR role quests, side quests, relic armor/weapon quests involving said beloved NPCs instead; more opportunities to flesh them out AND give the fans more on screen time with them as clearly desired.
