And boy, does that look cheap!
Trump even charges people an entrance fee to meet him, with a nice red queuing barrier there!

Mr W and I queued for 11.5 hours to walk past the late Queen. There was some grumbling from Mr W.

I suggested he might queue for the Bayeux tapestry and he suggested that whilst he was happy-ish to queue for the Boss he was having nothing to do with queuing to see carpet!

Currently on hour 3 of queuing for The Weekend merch, and rapidly approaching hour 4 with only a very soft light at the end of the tunnel. I feel like Morty when I got told this would be a quick in and out adventure

'americans' have done the same to people! even worse! bff israel to children! Queuing for food donations! So when we Africans are asked to support 'the west' over russia we're discombobulated. To us you're all the same. ukrainians and russians treat people my skin colour the exact same shit way!

Not problems exactly, but there was a LOT more queuing than billed - thankfully most of it with seats, and the one bit without they gave me a folding stool. I think they really miscalculated how long it would take people to shuffle through.

Yes, a bit of wind I think and minimal queuing to land at Heathrow, possibly helped by the slightly later arrival time for Tampa flights.

The late Queen's lying in state was the last Great British Queue. We've lost the art and now we're queuing in pubs. Truly the end of an era.

This boggles the mind. If I had spent hours virtually queuing to get the tickets, and then made the journey to get to the exhibition, only to get this, I’d be fucking *furious*.
“You might not get to see this thing you may have no other chance of seeing because we fucked up, oh well, oops” isn’t ok.
So the Bayeux Tapestry exhibition is not going very well

They've sold far too many tickets and the space cannot cope with the physical number of people - how did they not do basic crowd flow/control calculations?

Embarrassing that the British cannot organise a queue properly

We visited the Tapestry in Bayeux at the height of the tourist season last year. Cheap as chips to get in. Minimal queuing. Efficient visitor management once in. Simple headphone system. In & out. A proper exhib where the thing was “the thing”. 10/10.

They fucking love guns after all.

You would think the MAGA cunts would be queuing up to participate.

It was the same for the Tutankhamun exhibition in 1974 (?).

I remember queuing for hours...in fact the four of us (two adults, two kids - I was 10) took turns to stand while the others went off and did other things.

Of course we ought to have learnt since then!

We went on the 14th Sept and had a slot for 4pm and given the amount of time it can be exposed to light we were amazed we got to see it after queuing for an hour
