My quilt, Bloom, will be at QuiltCon 2026. This quilt is an ode to the wonderful art of Georgia O'Keefe. #quiltsky #QuiltCon2026

Here are two more color ideas for Meeting of the Geese. I would be so curious to see some interpretations with more than three colors!

Santa Fe Trip is going to #QuiltCon2026 in the handwork category. This is my first time being accepted and I’m giddy. #quiltsky

I visited the other app to see all the gorgeous quiltconrejects and accepted quilts people are sharing. So much beauty and creativity in this world.

QuiltCon is the largest quilting event on earth, hosted by the Modern Quilt Guild. We are grateful to @themqg.bsky.social for their help in putting together our Quilts Against the Machine feature in issue 8 of Shibboleth magazine. 1 of 2

I just realized that I forgot to post the mini quilt I made for my swap partner for the #mqgminiswap2026 at #quiltcon2026 💜 I love it & I think I’m going to have to make one for myself. This 24” square quilt was made with Island Batiks. #quilting #quiltsky

…are producing these projects without a central organizing venue, or the idea of broad-based replication/pattern writing.

It’s just the theory section now, as we’re trying to get the interview protocol through IRB (paper got reformulated after QuiltCon2026), but I think it’s going to be great.
