At a Radfae gathering in like, 2016, a person with a pink elephant mascot style fursuit to talk and do a performance presence about fursuits and ritual and all the queens and arty fae and witchywoowoo queers were like "OMG!!??" at the concept.

And I was so deeply closeted that I wouldn't have then. I had a group of radfae friends who probably were though. I was always somewhat near and closer to other gay men even when I didn't know.
