Sky News has radicalised the Liberal Party. Just like Fox News radicalised MAGA.
Tony Barry nails it.

As long as Sky After Dark remains the Liberal Party’s policy incubator, expect more trash-tier pre-selections and policy ideas straight from the bin.

Extinction awaits.

I genuinely don't think the right has noticed the degree to which it has radicalised.
May not keep this one up too long, but here is a temperature check of where we are at these days with formerly 'just a normal classical liberal' types

People can be radicalised and taught bigotry as children.

People can be radicalised and taught bigotry as young adults.

People can be radicalised and taught bigotry in middle age.

People can be radicalised and taught bigotry in old age.

The fight against hate never ends.

I heard someone ask someone else “what radicalised you?” and I thought quietly to myself, what has NOT radicalised me?

Amazing how many of the people currently creating havoc around the world were radicalised during covid.
I realise this is Restore Britain etc etc, but it's nonetheless pretty shocking.

And of course now people are claiming she just got “radicalised” by people criticising her. No, what happened was she was already radicalised, hid it for a while, and then felt safe to show it once twitter was a safe fascist space and fascism was the look du jour.

I don't think any single piece of information has ever radicalised me like reading the statistics on how many women have their husbands/boyfriends dump them because they got a terminal illness diagnosis
Among heterosexual couples over age 50, research finds that divorce rates increase significantly when the wife develops a serious illness but the husband does not; however, no such increase is seen when husbands fall ill but wives do not. www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/soci...
New Research Reveals a Concerning Emerging Divorce Pattern
Divorce trends among middle-aged adults have revealed a shocking new pattern.

If you've got a child calling for people to drown I'd suggest that might be a matter for social services. Clearly that child has been radicalised

Nails it. “a government of the radicalised online right, for the radicalised online right, by the radicalised online right”. They don’t care about actual freedom, the type Ukrainians are dying for. Their bag is composing tweets about largely imagined attacks on freedom of speech, for the likes
Have written about JD Vance’s Munich speech. In what may prove to be the biggest week for European security since 1991, it’s time Europe listened to what Trump and his Vice President are telling us. open.substack.com/pub/goodalla...
We need to listen to what Trump and Vance are telling us.
This may have been the biggest moment for European security since 1991.

ik a lot of ppl are loathed to give stephen fry any due but this, i think, is the first time a mainstream figure has been all over the british press straight-up saying jk rowling has been radicalised.
