#OTD 31.7.1942. F/Lt Eric Martin 280651, 10 Sqn, 25 y/o. Piloting Sunderland W3994 on anti-sub patrol in the Bay of Biscay. His plane disappeared leaving no trace of the twelve crew. Reported attacked by an Arcado Ar196 and exploding after landing at sea. #LWF
