Been too exhausted to do good VP, it’s been very frustrating to be so emotionally drained. Anyway, here’s an older shot from an angle I never posted. Transmasc Astarion+Grove

I’ve improved a lot since I took my first pic, but I still sometimes use it when answering #tavqotd prompts since it’s part of #Rainbowblood lore

I don’t see people putting Astarion in dresses despite the fact he would be a marvelous drag queen. So he’s going ballroom dancing with Grove💖

Mutual dislike
Act 1: Raphael
Grove and Astarion immediately hated him (Grove saw to much of his old self in Raphael)
Act 2: Araj
Treating Astarion like he was a possession made both of them hate her
Act 3: Mystic Carrion
For SO MANY reasons

"We saw you across the bar and hate your vibe."
Who was someone your tav/durge and their LI instantly disliked?
Araj is the easiest answer for Malstarion. A fallen Drow noble conducting blood experiments who has a creepy interest in having a vampire bite her? Instant ick.

This was my first picture I took of Grove, Alex and Astarion all together!💖

Hope:
Grove’s found family, especially his pale kitty. Also, small acts of kindness. When Astarion moved in, the dryad couple living nearby gave Astarion sewing supplies since he enjoys sewing.
It made Grove feel hope that things could get better💖

When I lost the sun I thought I would be hiding in shadows, knowing nothing but the dark of night.
But no, I feel warmth on my skin. My world is lit by your presence.

Class affects relationship:
Grove+Astarion
Basically Grove is a bard and therefore has the charisma stat to get his Starry out of all the rouge mischief he causes.
Grove finds Astarion’s chaos amusing and therefore doesn’t rain it in lol.

Home:
Grove is from the Feywild. He has a cottage there (with his dragons hoard in the cellar/underground botanical paradise).
Grove is SUPER homesick during the misadventure. He tries to make a similar vibe to his home in the shack near camp.

What would Grove sacrifice to protect a loved one?:
He would do anything. After he killed Birch, something changed in him. An extreme fear of loss took him over, and the willingness to do anything to protect others especially those he loves.
