Video fashion!
I'll be really interested to see if this develops because furries will be the first to find interesting use cases. Does this mean Protogens can wear pants now? Clothing with moving patterns and animation will look really interesting I think once this matures.

5 years have been spent crafting a new Wings of Fire for my dnd crew now...
Over 100 sessions in, and we've done amazing rewrites ti the whole plot.
Icicle remains free..
Battlewinner survived AND made peace with rainwings...
Battles against a homered pantheon..
It's all been so exciting ^-^

DUDE, i actually really love how Sunny is written as a character?
I also REALLY like Glory. She us Nostalgic to my rebellious teen heart. As I grow into the fandom, I realize, I resonate with Rainwings the most for various reasons!
My favorite character is Darkstalker.

- I don’t remember where the books say this but the wiki claims that LeafWings are related to RainWings, so my hc designs share a few traits (mostly the snakelike neck)(if you squint)
- LeafWings are the largest dragons on Pantala, excluding royal HiveWings

I don't know who is more drippy: rainwings or seawings.
They look like they're having fun.

- RainWings’ neck and tail make up for most of their body length. Their torso is quite short, proportionally.

Next up in line: Glory! Rainwings are particularly interesting with their whole camouflage, soo I tried to somehow translate this into my style a bit. Thicker wings and horns directly attached to the base of the skull - covered in a small scale layer!

Rainwings like Juniper here are quite the handful to baby! Sure, diapering them makes it harder for them to stealth away, but I'm sure you'll agree a full body locking neon pink rubber hose suit that leaves you basically helpless is far superior~

Time for some (WoF) dragons
My main dragon Silt, a gentle giant of a MudWing who lost his siblings during the war of SandWing Succession and almost lost his life but was saved by the Rainwings who helped him find a new purpose in life.

Suntime doodles of my 3 rainwings and how they enjoy their naps.
The one hanging from the tree is, Elixir, the one on the leg with the extra arms is, Jack-o'-lantern, and the one curled up is Lemon/Asahi

That gives me an idea for a digital painting. It’s a shame the RainWings aren't constantly absurd; given their lack of education, they could be portrayed as total goofballs—making for a really funny dynamic with the intelligent Glory right in the middle, questioning all that silliness.

Notes on Drawing RainWings
-very lengthy and skinny
*have they been eating enough?
-tail very long
-spine spikes only sharp towards head
-scales annoying to draw
*best method is lightly scribbling circles upwards
-scale/plating? on edges and bottoms of wherever
-sharp claws

Also made a canon style alt for Firefly!
This one was a little harder because I had to make her look a little more burly than the slim rainwings, it's not quite as good as how Feldspar turned out but I still like it :3
