Ralph Arnold's Stripes in Square, from 1969 is acrylic on board with collage. It is a square made up of dark and reflective stripes, outlined in red and light blue. That square sits to the left of a larger blue square which is outlined in black and green. It is framed in a thin black wooden frame. The verso of Ralph Arnold's Stripes in Square, from 1969, is a patched piece of cardboard, with a wire for hanging and the artist's red, white, and black business card attached.
