Tonight, Monochrome Set marked my 250th gig at our own #RamsgateMusicHall and jolly fine they were too, despite the sweltering heat.... Mixture of old and new songs, naturally.... 'Alphaville' being one of my favourites and always on the mix-tapes......

Didn't discover my favourite band there ..... but.... . we are very lucky to have had #RamsgateMusicHall for the last eleven or twelve years and I cannot praise the team there highly enough. Truly magnificent little venue 😁

First visit to #RamsgateMusicHall (but not to Thanet) by @heliconglasgow.bsky.social was a roaring psychedelic success. Did my Mogwai tshirt make me imagine i heard strains of 'Mogwai Fear Satan' opening their set? Or was it my fluey head? Absolutely recommended..... again 😁

Lovely evening's entertainment with, first, the fabulous @drjaninaramirez.bsky.social then hotfooted back to our own #RamsgateMusicHall for The Molotovs. Always lovely to see the "Goth Prof" and I hope she got the car charged up for her onward journey.

Great showing of @nightingalesuk.bsky.social 'King Rocker' @margatefilmfest.bsky.social yesterday, complete with very jovial Q&A with Messrs Lee and Cumming. Terrific seeing it on "the big screen" and hopefully will get people along to see them at #RamsgateMusicHall in February......

Will be shoe-horning Sheffield in between @mogwai.scot gigs, so regrettably missing the return to our magnificent #RamsgateMusicHall .... it's the old "two buses coming along at once" theory 🤣

The Utopia Strong played an excellent gig tonight at our #RamsgateMusicHall and were very ably supported by Andrew Lilles .... whose set was spoiled slightly by a little too much audience chatter.

The Cords played our own #RamsgateMusicHall this evening.
Here are some things you should know about them:
They are from Scotland
They are tiny and polite and smiley
They introduce every song
Some songs are love songs like the early Buzzcocks songs were
They are indeed Punk Rock, seriously guys

This evening's aural delights at #RamsgateMusicHall came from The Jonny Halifax Invocation. Sort of like the love child of Captain Beefheart, Hawkwind and delta blues crawling from the acid swamp.......

#ThusLove concluded their tour with an exhuberant performance at our legendary #RamsgateMusicHall, and although not at capacity, I think everyone was very glad they came.
