Bobbin lace made with a pattern archived in the 19th c. Rauma, Finland, this requires ~165 bobbins to make.
I don’t need this lace but would like to make a little of it some day perhaps

This weekend I got started with this rather monstrously sized 104-bobbined 18th century jabot and sleeve ruffle lace. This pattern is from Rauma and features individual six-petaled flowers worked across the ground.

My friend needs a few metres of tulle lace for her larp/re-enactment project and I promised to help her out (and she'll help me with a little sewing project in return)

Today I'm helping with editing an 18th-19th century Finnish cuff lace pattern by doing the re-drawings based on the plan I received from my tutor. The new version allows for easier pleating on the inside edge, giving it more space
