Loving the announcements in the ReactConf keynote! Great summary of new React features (Activity etc), Compiler 1.0, community acknowledgements, and finally a React Foundation!

First the great announcements and talks, but even more than that, a ton of great conversations throughout the day: maintainers, React team members, app devs, friends.
I'm genuinely excited about the direction React and the team are going!

I had an incredible first day at ReactConf!
First the great announcements and talks, but even more than that, a ton of great conversations throughout the day: maintainers, React team members, app devs, friends.
I'm genuinely excited about the direction React and the team are going!

it felt a little surreal because it was in the same place as the last in-person reactconf, but that was five years ago (in 2019)! so it felt almost like revisiting an old memory but most of the faces are new

in terms of energy, to me it felt like reactconf 2018 or even 2015. react compiler was the big moment, but there was also something less splashy but important happening in the background. i got the sense of growing convergence in the community. rsc perception is moving from viable to exciting.
