It's crazy how much recent history is just like "lol we dunno" and this is with the insane amount of documentation in the internet age. I was looking for a game from a defunct RealArcade competitor whose name escapes me and it is strictly impossible to find anything about it online.

Although the thread talks only about TIGSource era indie games with only a couple of (maybe disparaging?) comments about casual games, the economic catalyst for indie games was casual downloadable portals like RealArcade, and Dexterity Forums and Steve Pavlina were extremely influential
