The reality is that you can’t fund a cradle to grave welfare state just by taxing billionaires. Higher taxes on car dealers, landlords, mid-size business owners, doctors and dentists, lawyers and consultants, and other “Main Street millionaires” are needed - but Dems are afraid to speak up.

The blending of reality and satire as real news headlines has broken me. Getting local, let alone national or world updates/current affairs is mentally exhausting.

This is what we get for electing a reality TV host. It couldn’t be more predictable.

When Donald Trump boasts that a new steel plant is already under construction in Iowa, who better to check the veracity of that claim than the people in Iowa who live where the plant is supposedly being built?

Trump is making promises on the campaign trail that have no basis in reality.

#Racism: When people believe non-whites are "given" things b/c of DEI e.g. stars, job, promotion. The reality, non-whites are often overqualified. During meetings where promotions were decided, white officers would sometimes make disparaging comments. Sometimes they wouldn’t say anything @ all. /1

It's nice to think that big AI companies will regulate themselves and put the security of the American people first, but it's just not the reality.

We need laws that mandate higher standards of testing and independent review to make sure AI systems are safe and secure.

This disconnect from reality and abject failure to LISTEN to people, in order to uplift institutional agendas IS WHY the public has lost trust in higher education.

The pattern is everywhere: SA cases everywhere, student debt crisis, public engagement.

It’s not rocket science. It’s failure.

The worst part for me is that my holier-than-thou Christian family members are all in the embodiment-of-the-seven-deadly-sins cult. Groomed by their church to believe the fear mongering crap tRump spews over reality and put faith before science.

I'm not a Big Brother watcher.
I'm a 2nd hand forced watcher. #BigBrother

Here's what I've learned :

Dee a good liar. Too good.

Don't bring former reality stars back. Especially previous winners.

Devens had no balls not putting Dee up in final 5.

Drew was stupid to believe the lies.

This is where we’ve ended up- yelling at the Vicar of Christ that he probably doesn’t even have a diversified cole crypto wallet and a Kalshi account. I know our society had lost the thread of reality entirely but this is… a lot even for that
