#recentacquisitions I'd been internet-hunting these two Aesthetic Movement WINTER tiles for years and finally they popped up at the same time recently! Designed by John Moyr Smith for Minton Tile Works, 1870s. Also snagged a cpl others recently. Someday I'll do a blog post on how gay-coded they are.
