Very pleasant meal at River and Woods in Boulder. The Palisade Peach specials were quite delicious.
On a wooden table with diagonal slash marks running across it (I asked and no explanation was forthcoming regarding this design element), is a quasi rectangular plate with two deviled eggs. The egg on the right came out a bit smooshed and I am surprised they let that out of the kitchen. A picture of the special menu at River and Woods. This is the longest I've let my nails grow in a good 18 yrs--surprising for a nearly-lifelong-nailbiter. Maybe it's because this is one of the few aspects of my existence I can actually control...at any rate, it makes strumming strings a bit less painful
