This is actually a real thing. Some older Black Democrats are frustrated that progressives are focused on Israel and Gaza when the VRA was just gutted and states like Tennessee, North Carolina, Louisiana and Alabama are redrawing the map.
I wish more white progressives were as angry.
I am Clayton County, Georgia and have been talking to older Black voters outside a polling place and ahead of this Obama rally and can confirm: older Black voters to a tee are FURIOUS about the Supreme Court killing the Voting Rights Act. This is the home of John Lewis and MLK.

Casual reminder that if voting in the midterms really didn't change anything, the Republicans wouldn't be spending billions of dollars, redrawing district maps, burning ballot boxes, and sending armed paramilitary to polling places to try and keep you from doing it.
