I'm a big fan of rapid film. Yes the rolls are short, but it's the perfect length for a morning out and for experimenting with different techniques (redscale or EBS) and films. I get about 2 canisters worth from a roll of 36 exposure film (1 from 24exp) and the remnant I use to test out new cameras.
