I'm making soup! My interpretation of Yeto's reekfish stew from TLoZ Twilight Princess. Smoked salmon, pumpkin purée, and chevre
photo of a collection of ingredients in packaging arranged on a wooden cutting board. From left to right: Smoked salmon, celery, goat cheese, carrots, a yellow onion, a bulb of garlic, two deli containers of pumpkin purée screenshot from the game Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess of a large white mountain yeti man named Yeto standing behind and looking down into a large cauldron of thick orange stew with chunks of pumpkin and what looks like a salmon head(it is called Reekfish in the game)

Fanart of Yeta surrounded by soup ingredients (goat cheese, fish, pumpkin, a bowl of soup and a bottle of soup). Behind her we see the broken mirror piece.

A line drawing of the Coral Earring from Twilight Princess. Curator's notes: A ceremonial earring once worn by members of the Zora royal family. The earring, which has been carved in the shape of a hook, uses materials derived from a species of coral found in the shallow reefs off the Faron coast. According to Zora folklore, the coral emits an odor that attracts a type of trout known as a Reekfish. The existence of this fish is unconfirmed, and ichthyologists believe it to be mythical. A line drawing of the Zonai Flame Emitter from Tears of the Kingdom. Curator's notes: A rectangular block of celadon stone carved in the shape of a dragon’s head. Bronze horns curl around the outer edges to form a partial base. A steel alloy barrel emerges from two sets of ceramic teeth lining the fissure in the stone. As the exterior of the object features no visible fuel value or trigger, it is unclear how this device would have emitted flame.

Yeto would throw us into a pot but thankfully his soup recipe needs reekfish instead

Apparently the reekfish is necessary, but the guide I read didn’t go into any details of how to catch it besides bobbing the lure with the coral earring up and down by those rocks. The guide had link on the other side of the map, idk if that matters.

I love Twilight Princess, but the Reekfish bit can take a long walk off a short pier.

Zelda Twilight Princess makes me feel smort, I did the Sacred Grove puzzle so fast, and figured out what to do with the reekfish so fast too (Idc if the game is for kids, let me feel smort). Also I love the snowman!

They should’ve added the Reekfish from TP into TOTK as a rare rush for Hebra that would’ve been sick

You don't need bee larvae, you just need the coral earring attached to the fishing pole. You'll want to be on the shore of the eastern side of the map near what's called the mother and child rocks. What you're trying to catch is called a reekfish. Once you catch it, it'll have a red odor cloud...

Twilight Princess: In order to lure out the Yetis, you need the Reekfish. You’ll have to fish for them, but it won’t be hard to tell cause they’re red.

Me, a colorblind Zelda gamer: Like…like my outfit?

Now that we got an immersion blender for a Christmas gift, my wife and I were inspired to make Yeto's Superb Soup from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess! Made with pumpkin, goat cheese, and reekfish-- er, salmon!

This soup HOLDS HEAT! Look how much steam rises each time I stir it!

a youtube comment on a twilight princess snowpeak ruins playthrough video that reads "Man, what I wouldn't do to try and taste that Yeti's soup if I were in his mansion. That Reekfish may smell bad by itself but it probably tastes good once you cook it, Yeti style. First, I would taste the soup with just the Reekfish. Second, I would then taste it with pumpkin added to it. Then finally I would taste with cheese added to it. Too bad this just a video game. But hey, I can only imagine, can't I? There's nothing wrong with that. :)"
