The cover of Tender as Hell: an updated Roach reference zine for fanartists, writers and creators by Randy Roy Table of contents of the zine, page 1: authors note, sources, season 1 costumes, season 2 costumes, roach: a character study, roach's creations, the soup, roach's domain (the galley), writing roach as Amazigh: terminology, geography, different Amazigh tribes, the Touareg people, food and cooking, Languages, Fanfic Recommendafions, Season 1 scene by scene analysis Second page of the contents: season 2 scene by scene analysis, drawing references, final thoughts Page of the zine showing a map: "here's a map of where the different Amazigh tribes are located. If Roach was indeed born in the Sahara, then it's likely that he's from the Touareg people, whose territory is the largest because they're semi-nomadic. There's also the Zenega people in Mauritania, although there's a lot less information on them that's readily available on the internet. The main thing when deciding on the background you want to write for Roach is to respect each tribe as distinct by avoiding mixing and matching random influences, and indicate when you post which tribe you're referencing in your writing or drawing!
