Sometimes they call "reforrestation" planting trees in an area they just removed the previous Forest. Also a lot of the newly planted Forest are not carbon sink and sometimes worst carbon positive, especially because they burn easily

And you know the story would be THEY HATE FARMERS if they tried mass reforrestation in many parts of Wales instead. Not necessarily passing comment on these particular projects as I haven't looked into them in much detail, but as a general comment, stuff like is reasonable, IMO.
