A droplet-covered CD was illuminated at night with white LED light, which then refracts. This is why the three colours that comprise this white light appear: red, green, and blue. This is the same as with screen pixels, which also consist of RGB colours. However, magenta between blue and red, yellow between red and green, and cyan between green and blue also appear. The drops are brightly coloured and wildly patterned. A glass sphere approximately 3 cm in diameter reflects, in a point reflection, a block of ice containing air bubbles illuminated by blue light, part of the light source, and the floor, ridged cement, which also appears blue. The transparent sphere casts a shadow!
