I SUPPORT PRESIDENT TRUMP REMOVING THE "REGULATORY" AND "SAFETY" WOKENESS THAT IS DELAYING BOEING FROM CREATING PLANES.
(NYT) - President Trump, furious about delays in delivering two new Air Force One jets, has empowered Elon Musk to explore drastic options to prod Boeing to move faster, including relaxing security clearance standards for some who work on the presidential planes.

If you’re not a law nerd, and you’re wondering why people who are not themselves theocratic fascists would support theocratic fascists, it’s to achieve this: to limit the power of the regulatory state.
NEW: SCOTUS could soon overturn the "Chevron doctrine," upending numerous federal regulations designed to protect the public.

At least 20 right-wing groups linked to court-whisperers like Charles Koch and Leonard Leo have backed the assault on Chevron.

There is a very bad internet bill out there that has bipartisan support. It’s called KOSA. Elizabeth Warren is a cosponsor.

It is being used as a regulatory trojan horse to punish sites that host LGBTQ voices on the internet.

It’s both pathetic and disgusting there are nine Senate Democrats who would support a bill giving crypto more regulatory support in any case.

The fact that they’re going to pass a pro-crypto bill that does nothing about Trump’s blatant corruption takes it to another level.
BREAKING: Democrats reached a deal on a stablecoin bill that will give them a fake amendment on Trump crypto corruption that is designed to fail, so collaborators can say they did the best they could.
"Schumer 101," said one source.

There has not been some massive regulatory overhaul under Biden, or any wild attack on capitalism. But many business leaders have convinced themselves that the status quo is socialism, justifying their support for an authoritarian.
The capitalist consolidation behind Trump is producing some wild quotes.

Where the hell are Google and Apple enforcing their app store terms of service on X? Grok doing CSAM should instantly be a removal from the app store. Any other app doing this would be pulled instantly. Journalists should be asking for comment from these companies.

Won a thing, at work.

It's a complicated and narrow regulatory thing, but what it comes down to is: in a decision just released by the Public Regulation Commission, New Mexico's clean energy law will NOT been weakened in order to support fossil gas generation buildout.

Private equity bids for Thames Water “are conditional on further, and varying, regulatory support and accommodations being achieved”.

Translation - bailout, bigger bills, no fines for sewage dumping & leaks, no restraint on dividends & exec pay.

Total Govt/OFWAT capitulation
Regulators must not go soft on Thames Water now
With six bids on the table, the company’s reference to ‘support and accommodations’ sounds like a plea for special treatment

I am amazed by all these US establishment figures who believe that Trump wants to improve the US, when all he is doing is destruction of the social & regulatory state,
or that he wants to support the West & democracy, when all he says is that he wants to support dictatorships.
