Was this article necessary? It’s not like the TTC ordered more Proterra buses and the TTC said BYD and Proterra had severe reliablity and maintainability issues during the evaluation. IMO, the bigger scandal is the board not willing to talk about the evaluation results.

The challenge with AI hallucination is that all information going forward is built on a house of cards. It's not just a quirky byproduct of the tool.

This cost is in rewrites, migrations (with zero downtime!), continously getting better at reliablity (while the whole system is being changed.)

something ive seen with AI bros too is that they assume "AI can do this" is the same as "AI can do this well/reliability/without human adjustment to fix it"
Because AI can do things, just not well, just not reliablity and usually requires human adjustment to fix it to the point that fixing it

Must admit that it was a bad idea to hype up Mythos as far too dangerous to release to the public, then release a version of it to the public. I'm skeptical of the reliablity of AI guardrails and suspect there are more possible jailbreaks out there.
