Looking through g3 for my doll wishlist and I have a lot of the dolls I want (yay!) but there a lot dolls that fall in a very passive want, like I want them bc I want to reroot them or if I found them at the thrift in good condition/price I would buy them

… That’s kinda the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of for a nerf, at least in the comparison of my Gara kinda face-rolling the event.
Buuut also I can kinda see the nerf because I feel like Acid Shells is always doing something weird like Destiny 2’s Telesto.
Like with Nokko & Reroot Rampage day 1.

Every doll reroot I sell is a battle between my sentimental heart because I really do bond with these dolls as I work, and my limited space and desire to have others enjoy them, too. Each one takes me about 14+ hours over a week or two because I'm disabled and work slow, listening to audiobooks.

My guess is she will also be the first ever fashion doll from Watchmen. And I'm defining fashion doll by the fabric clothing and rooted hair.

I SEE. Good luck!!! I have only watched videos and done a single face up of an old monster high doll but thats it- I can't wait to see what you do! Are you going to try to reroot the hair or make a wig?

As it's my first completed doll, I'm not really happy with the paint job at all, but I am happy with the hair. It was a complicated second reroot and very carefully done so by hand with the softest saran. (It is SO soft!!!)

Found Halle Bailey's Ariel doll in an op shop 🥳
She had some marks, partially cut/wrecked hair, scratches and paint chipping but after a good wash and a little hair restyling she's cleaned up pretty well! Just needs a body now😆
Sad about the chop, maybe future reroot👀

True it definitely could be, it also doesn't help that lately a lot of brands/lines have characters with bright colored hair in the past decade or so. It's got too much at this point. Now I need someone to reroot them with natural hair colours so we can see

Enjoyed spending time at the Baltic, Gateshead today. Great exhibition of Tish Murtha's documentary photography of local people from the 60s to 80s, intriguingly paired with contemporary work by Kuba Ryniewicz. Also the Summer Open Exhibition, from which my favourite was this piece by Rachel Deakin.
