My son saved this dog from the streets last night. She has clearly had a tough time of it. Just saying I’m proud of him and it confirms for me to not walk away cause tonight she is safe, warm and fed. #AdoptDontShop #RescueDogsAreTheBest

I'm sitting here w/ my beautiful, messy, scruffy wonderful old girl as she journeys from this world to the next. She's 19. For the last 3 days we've been taking turns holding her, petting her, telling her how much we love her, thanking the universe for our Zoey girl. #sayinggoodbye #mysweetgirl #zoey

On a lighter note this morning, my dog Ava has a new bed and I decided to take a photo of her in it. She protested by giving me her patented "straight-on side eye."

Mum looks after a dog that was beaten to shit by "Dad".
Ergo, it hates men.
I sat with it for about 2hrs...
Best friends.
Even got the damn thing on the trampoline.
It's the size of a Fiat Punto.
So, yeah.

Seriously, I swear for a while I couldn't keep him OUT of the dog crate. Observe Maggie's long-suffering patience. #rescuedogsarethebest

We lost our sweet Maxine a week ago Monday. Such tough times but so worth it for all the love she has provided over the past 15 years. #fuckcancer #rescuedogsarethebest Our Jed is confused and we will have him a new buddy once we process this grief.
