A win for nature & climate! 🌱 64,300 more seagrass seeds have been planted in the #FirthofForth, with the goal of restoring vital underwater meadows. 🌊

Hear from the volunteers who helped harvest these very seeds and have planted them into the Forth.

Absolutely thrilled to read this as I've loved being involved with #RestorationForth
A win for nature! #RestorationForth and volunteers have been surveying oysters introduced to the Forth last autumn.

The results show an incredible 85% survival rate and average growth of 4.5mm. 👏

This is great news for marine life - restored oyster beds could double biodiversity in 10 years! 🐟

The long-awaited Natural Environment Bill has now been introduced! 🎉

#RestorationForth has shown that local communities are committed to restoring nature & the Scottish Government needs to enable them. The Bill must be followed with ambitious targets for nature & funding to turn plans into action.

Scotland’s seagrass is part of a global ecosystem. 🧩🌍

On average, a seagrass meadow the size of 2 football fields can support 80,000 fish & a million invertebrates! Yet, we’re losing these habitats fast. #RestorationForth aims to restore seagrass meadows & hope for our oceans. 🌱
