Some work on Ronald now I feel better. The old bimetallic thermostat plate was chattering and not shutting off properly. So modified it and fitted a bimetallic disc thermostat instead. No more chatter and nice hot water! Love these old Cascade units. So robust and simple. #caravan #retrocaravan

I converted all of the old fluorescent fixtures in Penny to LED using a 2700k "noodle" strip. It gives a nice illusion of a filament while providing better CRI and light output, at a fraction of the power consumption.

Wij gaan niet rondtrekken; nemen een camping en gaan vanuit daar wandelingen en dagtrips maken. We hebben een 45 jaar oude retrocaravan en die leent zich niet om te trekken. Mooie camping geboekt in Vastra Gotaland, aan een meer in de bossen.
