This process isn’t immediate: safety, toxicological, stability studies take time.
In the meantime, impacted foods & medicines will be pulled from shelves = shortages of things we rely on.
Small companies may not afford revalidation studies & won’t develop replacements; they’ll just be gone.

LLMs have created a new kind of anxiety, the awareness of how much of my "good enough" code could be dramatically improved with simple refactoring but the rate limiting step is now revalidation & testing instead of the rewrite itself.

i'm running a Next.js app on Railway behind CF proxy.
i've never done backend in my life before. what do i need to know? i mean stuff like
- observability
- what to do if someone ddos's me
- deployment versioning
- cache hits, revalidation, whatever
any lessons i don't want to learn hard way?

My former institution that fired a third of the staff didn't have enough staff to do revalidation paperwork on time to remove modules so now they're stuck with modules they literally don't have staff trained to teach and are asking sacked staff for PTHP favours. British academia, everyone.
