Several years ago I spent some time in the Revillagigedo Islands. This is video from an aggregation of white tip Reef sharks at Roca Partida. The scientific question that piques my interest is - where do they pup? There is no obvious nursery area anywhere around here.

Several years ago I spent some time in the Revillagigedo Islands. This is video from an aggregation of white tip Reef sharks at Roca Partida. The scientific question that piques my interest is - where do they pup? There is no obvious nursery area anywhere around here.

Jde o Halitrephes maasi, která díky odrazu světel dálkově ovládaných miniponorek až nápadně připomíná ohňostroj.
Tento druh žije v hloubkách okolo 1500 metrů poblíž souostroví Revillagigedo u poloostrova Baja California v Mexiku.
Ohňostrojová medúza.

Tuna are so swift. I always marvel at how photographers can get shots like this. They are bullets flying through the water. While I hate to use that analogy, it's apropos in this case. Stunning.
