I love drawing the girls just swimming and talking, like two kids riding their bikes or two guys in their car around town and talking whatever is on their minds...

And this wraps up for the night. Like with the "Cow Girl" video, I'm going to draw the incidental characters in a different style from the girls. This is Peter Piper and Bo Peep from Scene 05. #soundwaves #videoke #rhapsodyandmelody #rhapsodybaker #melodythemermaid

Allegro ambient sounds when the ship is at sublight in Sound Trek. I think this worked pretty well. I'll foley it in during the edit so I can control how loud and noticeable it is. #soundwaves #soundtrek #rhapsodyandmelody #rhapsodybaker #melodythemermaid #soundengineering #bts #behindthescenes

Generic shot of the Allegro bridge crew. Melody's chair will appear or disappear depending on whether she is on her tilt or not. #soundwaves #soundtrek #rhapsodybaker #melodythemermaid #rhapsodyandmelody #animatorsofbluesky

This is a scene from Videoke. Melody is talking with Mother Goose. Rhapsody is looking at the biggest ice cream sundae ever. I don't show Rhapsody starving herself and being stick thin, I show her ACTUALLY ENJOYING LIFE.

I'm having trouble keeping my eyes focused, so I'm going to bed. This is all the production art for Rugged Ash (very little actual animation), only the last two are not inked, I'll do that in the morning. #videoke #rhapsodyandmelody #soundwaves #garageanimator #animatorsofbluesky

I needed something to cheer me up after the election, so I made this animation in one take, the girls jamming out to some Future Jazz. #videoke #rhapsodyandmelody #soundwaves #rhapsodybaker #melodythemermaid #ddr #dancedancerevolution #futurejazz youtu.be/TQ2DBJ83k-k

The bottom is the crew of the Allegro. Starting on the left, Chief Engineer Alan Parsons, Security Chief Shak'Gee, Melody at helm, Rhapsody as captain, XO and Chief Science Officer Claire de Lune, T'Pau at ops, and Chief Medical Officer Dr. Hook. The top is base keyframe for the bridge crew.

Test render, Allegro bridge, generic, Rhapsody's POV from the captain's chair. I do love the job I did on the console displays, though.
The light bar under the viewscreen, I'm going to make a separate asset so I can animate the lights independently of whatever else is happening.

No fair asking how 14 year olds can get driver's licenses. Or how the mermaid is working the pedals....

I like it.
The turbolift is farther to the side than a Star Trek bridge. Rhapsody's chair is right against the divider wall where the weapons officer and XO sit. I positioned the turbolift so crew can simply leave the lift and head for their station instead of having to walk around obstacles.
