JUST ANNOUNCED! Love can conquer death. // DEAD LOVER is a hilarious, delirious, beautiful, horny, and wholly original Frankensteinian tale about the limits one Gravedigger will go to hold onto love. It is the sophomore feature from Grace Glowicki, who directed and stars as the love-obsessed, shovel-wielding Gravedigger turned mad scientist. The DEAD LOVER Stink-O-Vision screenings turn cinema into a full-body experience. Each audience member receives a scratch-and-sniff card created by scent artists, unleashing a carefully choreographed bouquet of aromas—funky, foul, seductive, and downright unholy—that sync with key moments in the film. From grave-dirt rot to dandy cologne, ghost puke to BBQ stank, the smells guide viewers through a journey of fetid, funky love where romance and revulsion collide.“If you want to walk away from a film with its particular aroma still sticking to your clothes, then set a date in stone for DEAD LOVER.” (Globe and Mail)Presented in Stink-O-VisionJune 179:30 pmTickets available at 🎟️www.riotheatre.ca

COMING SOON! “You keep dancing with the devil, one day he’s gonna follow you home.” // Following the massive success of both CREED and BLACK PANTHER franchises American director Ryan Coogler is again reuniting with one of the stars of those films, Michael B. Jordan, in an entirely new vision of fear: SINNERS.Trying to leave their troubled lives behind, twin brothers (Jordan, in a dual role) return to their hometown to start again, only to discover that an even greater evil is waiting to welcome them back. With Hailee Steinfeld, Jack O’Connell, Wunmi Mosaku, and Delroy Lindo.“‘Sinners’ is a redemption movie, a revenge movie with elements of Blaxploitation, and certainly a red-blood-soaked horror movie; it’s also deeply romantic and has the rhythms and audaciousness of some of our boldest musicals.” (Filmspotting)July 127:30 pmJuly 139:00 pmJuly 15 6:30 pmAdditional dates and ticket 🎟️ info www.riotheatre.caTickets 🎟️ www.riotheatre.caView all comments
