Vale had finished their season on the Friday at Scunthorpe. The Saturday was my 18th birthday, I was living at my Gran's farm at the time, I remember vividly watching the telly for the football scores coming in and it going live to Valley Parade, horrendous & preventable. #RIP56

40 years ago today my dad took his youth club away for the weekend. Which means 40 years ago tomorrow we didn't go to the Bradford vs Lincoln match. I'll forever be thankful, sadly many didn't make it home. #RIP56
