Perhaps I'm jumping to conclusions there given the only other one of these I've seen is Rizelmine (which is bad) but this is not the most distinguished set of anime.

It's not as dire as Rizelmine, but that's... not saying much.

So there's a segment in this that never left me because of how fucked-up it is, right in the first episode.
Rizelmine is messed up (not complimentary).

As for me, I'm currently watching some prime mid-aughts garbage that is only available fansubbed and that I didn't even know about until @sam-animeherald.bsky.social told me about it, so it sort of counts.
(believe it or not, it's panel research)

It has been a very long time but my enduring memory of Rizelmine is that it resolved its love triangle by having the childhood friend character fall in love with a dog instead.

Rizelmine is an awful, obnoxious little one-shot shonen rom-com from the creator of D.N. Angel, where a sullen little brat is forced to marry a childish, artificially-made girl. Wackiness, distasteful slapstick, and a nonsensical ending ensues from there:

I continue to convince myself that it is the early 2000s and The HorrorsTM can’t hurt me. 💅🏽✨

So I reminded myself of Rizelmine now you need to know what this shite was.
It was a short-form harem series, which starred a misogynistic, 15-year-old shitbrick named Tomori who has a thing for older women and openly lusts after them. (1/X - click to follow thread) 🧵

Might I suggest:
1) OniAi
2) Girls Bravo
3) Rizelmine
4) I couldn't become a hero, so I reluctantly decided to get a job.
All of them are dreadful and janky in their own special ways

Specifically, he says, casually: "Yeah, porn is good, but voyeurism is what really makes a guy horny."
And at that point, I just noped right the fuck out.
(Was it a book or photos? I forget - been a long time)
But yeah. Rizelmine - the creepy harem show about child marriage.
Fuck that show.
And at that point, I just noped right the fuck out.
