Still reeling from when RPG Advocate called my RM2K game 'newbie crap' on the Don Miguel RM2K forum in 2000 or 2001.
He was right though, it was objectively terrible and just used the rtp graphics and everything.
I should have kept working on my Star Trek TNG rpg after that though.

You wouldn't believe all the crazy shit I've seen done over the ages with just the RM2k. Simulated 3d views, the smoothest platformer engine you've ever seen, a really good Tetris....
"But the engine is so limited" someone managed to make a Picross game in rpgmaker without writing a single line of code (rpgmaker.net/games/11/). You think it's limited because you never tried using it seriously
